Welcome to 'Lessons from a Learner'! 

I'm MissT, a tea-loving blogger from Down Under who's keen to learn, connect and grow on my journey as a primary school teacher. I've just closed a chapter in my tertiary training...and now I'm extremely excited to dive into the 'real world' of teaching. 

There is so much to discover in this dynamic profession: I learn as much as I teach (if not more!), and hope to continue doing so throughout my career so that I can use my capabilities to benefit my students. I love that every day in the classroom is a new adventure - it's unpredictable, messy, but the most amazing type of work ever...

But what can you expect in this little space? Some reflections, lessons, stories and ideas. It's my hope that here, teachers can connect and collaborate to generate effective, creative lessons for the next generation of learners...while learning ourselves.
